Apex Busselton – Serving the Community for 60 years
Apex is a volunteer community service organisation that offers Australians aged 18 to 45 an opportunity to learn more about themselves, gain new skills, make new friends and help those in need. On the 16th of February 2017, we proudly celebrated our 60th year of volunteering in the Busselton Community and show no signs of slowing down just yet.
In fact, the Busselton Club was honoured to receive the prestigious title of National Best Apex Club for 2016 along with Best Communications and our Service Director/Vice President Alec Ovans winning National Apexian of the Year! This is an unprecedented trifector win for our hardworking little club and a first in our club’s history.
None of us volunteer for the recognition, however we are very all humbled that our efforts have been acknowledged by our peers. Congratulations to all those who assisted, both members and alike, in making these awards possible. We have great projects underway and now more than ever, we need new members to help us continue to help others. So, come along to our next meeting, have a drink and see what makes us the best Apex Club in the country!
